Welcome to a brand new ski chalet in the mountains around Vernon Township offering stunning views of the creeks and ski slopes. Newly available to rent this is a home that’s been completely renovated to create a modern getaway for a group of friends or a family who are looking to enjoy time together away from city life. Your owners and hosts have really turned up the cozy factor to the max in a home with a fireplace and plenty of opportunities for everyone to snuggle-up and hug mugs of hot chocolate in front of the fire. It’s a chance to treat yourselves to some luxury in a home in which you can be yourselves and make yours. The home is set within the grounds of the Minerals hotel in the Crystal Springs resort and yet is separate from that establishment, offering up more seclusion than you’ll get from most ski chalets in the area. OPEN PLAN LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM This bright and inviting space is a great place for everyone to gather after skiing to discuss the day’s events, plan what’s happening tomorrow and enjoy good food. A unique moose chandelier lights-up a space that has a fireplace, snug couches with plenty of space and a wall-mounted flat screen television. So kick-off your shoes, grab the remote and make yourselves at home. There’s room for ten at the dining table, so you can all gather for a formal meal, snacks, games, whatever. KITCHEN This is where all the culinary magic happens, and the quality of the appliances in here will really help you create stunning snacks and magnificent meals. The counter tops are of the highest quality, and the hosts ensure all the essentials are here. So, yes, that means there’s a dishwasher so no one needs to do any washing-up, a hot water kettle and a Keurig coffee machine, so you can start each day of your stay the tasty way. 5 BEDROOMS
Each of the 5 bedrooms offers a distinctive theme and snug place for guests to sleep. Choosing who sleeps where is something you’ll have to decide when you get here - four of the bedrooms have queen beds, the fifth two singles. All mattresses, pillows and bedding is of the highest quality and between them the rooms have plenty of storage space for everyone’s belongings. Please note the following important details: • While our home is located inside the resort, all amenities, including pool access, are managed exclusively by Minerals Resort. We, as homeowners, do not oversee these amenities. For access and information regarding fees and pricing, please contact the spa directly (not the front desk) at Minerals. These amenities are just a few minutes from our home. • Guests must be 21 years or older to book a stay at our home. Children accompanied by a legal guardian are exempt from this requirement. If you are under 21, you must have a 4.5–5 star rating to be considered eligible to book with us. Identification will be required. • We have a strict no-pet policy. This includes service animals, as the homeowner has severe allergies. A $250 fee will be charged immediately if this rule is violated. • Although our listing states we offer a crib, we actually provide a pack-and-play for toddlers. Unfortunately, Airbnb does not have a specific option to list a pack-and-play. • Due to the value of items in the home, we reserve the right to request identification from all guests at the time of booking. • Smoking is strictly prohibited. A $250 fee will be charged for any violations. This does not include any additional costs for damage or deep cleaning of furniture associated with smoking.

House rules

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our property and want to make your stay as good as possible. Please take a moment to read our house rules so that your trip is successful and relaxing! The house cannot be used as a party or event venue under any circumstances due to it being a holiday home. Unfortunately, any resident who throws an event or party will be asked to vacate the property immediately, no exceptions. Being in a family resort is great if you are travelling with youngsters. However, there is a 9pm-9am curfew so that families can enjoy peaceful nights as well as fun days. This curfew includes not playing loud music or sitting out on the deck in large groups. As part of our commitment to this curfew, we have installed sound monitors that measure decibels and we will issue a first warning if you go over the noise limit. If we must issue a second warning you will be asked to vacate the premises. This is a no smoking property with Nest smart smoke detectors fitted around the home. No pets are permitted, with no exceptions. If this rule is broken you will be charged a $250 dollar fee and will be asked to leave the home. Only the registered guests who are on the booking form may stay at the house, to a maximum of 10 people, State identification must be provided upon acceptance of the booking. No fireworks permitted at any time. No trespassing onto other properties as this could be dealt with by local law enforcement agents. No eating or drinking in any of the bedrooms. No toilet paper in the toilets. No more than four cars to be permitted on site at any time. If you park outside of the house, you are likely to be towed and this will incur additional expense. You will be sent some guidance for checkout that must be followed. You can expect to receive this four hours before you are due to vacate. For unconfirmed late check out we will allow a 15 minute grace period to gather your belongings, additional time will be fined $150 dollars. Please ensure that all lights and the AC/heating system is turned off when you are not in the property. Guest are required to recycle and separate all their waste and dispose of it in our metal garbage bins located at the entrance of our parking entrance in the back of the home. Failure to do so will result in a $75 fine. When you book your trip, you will be given your check-in and check-out times, these must be adhered to as our cleaning crew will arrive to clean up at the check-out time. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the cleaning crew fine ($300/hour) being passed on to you for payment. If there are any stained or missing towels or linens, we will charge your card for the cost to replace. Towels $25, bed linens $200 (if you use fake tan or wear heavy makeup then you may prefer to bring your own linens. The laundry machine is not for short term guest use. Guest staying 5 days or more are allowed to use the machine. (Soap is not include) BBQ must be fully cleaned if left uncleaned guest will incur a $75 cleaning fee. The Maximum amount of electricity handled by the chalet we have air conditioning in the kitchen/ living room and the two main bedrooms. All other rooms are equipped with moving fans. We are located on top of a mountain so the day time it will get hot, and the evening do tend to get colder than normal. It’s within easy reach of the following: •  Crystal Springs Resort - Guests need to purchase passes to use the facilities here which include skiing, golf tennis, gym, swimming pools. •  Mountain Creek Ski Resort - discover 167 acres of ski-friendly slopes, plus over 50 trails for mountain bikers and a golf course for good measure. More fun for all the family can be found in the waterpark which features over 20 slides •  Wawayanda State Park - a beautiful location with lakes and trails •  Stairway to Heaven Trail - another paradise for hikers •  Warwick Valley Winery - raise a glass, maybe several glasses as you taste some local wines •  Hidden Valley Ski Resort - this winter activity center attracts snowboarders and skiers from all over the world.

Guest access

Check-in and Check-out is flexible depending on availability and house keeping. Guests will have full access to the Chalet. You have a full kitchen with all kitchen amenities including a Keurig coffee machine, hot water kettle, dishwasher. Guest have five bedrooms. We have a dens with living rooms (movie room setup) and the dining area seats 10 at the table. The dining is made for up to 10 people with a moose chandelier hovering right over the table…the coolest dining space ever :) We have the strongest wifi in the area, so you can stream, download and even game live with 70MBPS download and 7up. We also have a 65 inch smart TV in our entertainment room for watching Netflix, Amazon or any other app you enjoy. We're super excited to share that we are a a smart home! Keyless entry for extra easy check-in and check-out and a nest thermostat for eco-friendly temperature control. Additionally to ensure the security of the property and our guests, we have installed two exterior cameras (a doorbell camera and a patio camera on the ground level), please make sure all guests are registered in advance in your booking. Both cameras record video and audio when motion is detected outside the door, neither camera shows the interior of the property.
